DeComp Me

Decomp Me was an iPad installation piece promoting death acceptance built for Jae Rhim Lee’s Infinity Burial Project. Installed at the ZERO1 Biennial in San Jose in 2012, the piece asked visitors to lay down and take a photo of themselves. Over the course of the next 4 minutes, they would watch their own face slowly decompose, spawning insects and mycological flora until finally presented with a bare skull. The app was programmed in Objective-C.
